Upcoming events: 2nd edition

Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone! We have some big events coming up next week!

First of all, Monday, Sept. 3 the college is closed – NO CLASSES! So if any of you happen to stumble onto the campus Monday and find you can’t get in, well… now you know why. Enjoy the long weekend!

It’s that time of year everyone! Mainstreet will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday on Aug. 5 and 6 throughout the C and G Concourse. If clubs want to sign up early, unfortunately, they can’t register and choose a booth until 9 a.m. But once you secure your booth on Wednesday, you save your spot even when you have to register on Thursday, so make sure to be ready to be at registration in front of the OSA office at 9 a.m. on Wednesday!

Aug. 5: Collegiate Club Council will be meeting from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the U Auditorium. This is a chance for clubs to be involved with the other clubs and vote on certain issues regarding, well, clubs. You have to sign up though, so talk to your club adviser about joining!

Aug. 6: Student Government will have their third meeting from 3-4 p.m. in A-1002. This is one of the best ways to get your voice heard if there is an issue at the college, and it’s open to anyone!

Aug. 7: Gamers Club is having a Fun Day Friday in U-2019/21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They are also having a Lock-In from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. in U-1022/26!

Make sure you sign up for the OSA Calendar and get all of the events coming up right on your own Canvas Calendar! You can use the link or use a QR code that is posted around the school.
