The Blazer is JJC’s independent student-run newspaper. It is our mission and desire to bring to the students, faculty and community stories that matter and content that upholds the highest journalistic integrity.
Since 1928, The Blazer has served the JJC community with pride and that tradition is not lost on our staff. As we venture into the future, we look to interact more with our readers, implementing games, puzzles and cartoons into the paper, while populating this website and our physical paper with in-depth content.
Since the 2014 fall semester, this website has stood as a testament to the changing times at JJC and at The Blazer. As we evolve and improve, we will continue giving the entire JJC community a reliable and consistent news source for all things JJC and Joliet.
We welcome any and all feedback and look to push forward into the future with a publication that our readers can be proud of.
